According to statistical data, from January to September this year, China exported 4.939 million tons of ammonium sulfate, an increase of 19.9% over the same period last year, making it the largest chemical fertilizer export. The second largest was diammonium phosphate, which exported 4.844 million tons in the first nine months, an increase of 5.3% over the same period last year. However, urea, which has remained the top exporter for many years, only exported 1.41 million tons in the first nine months, down 67.7% from the same period last year. It has fallen out of the top three, ranking only fifth.

　　First, the volume of exports is large.

In the first nine months, the monthly export volume was more than 350,000 tons, with the highest volume reaching 670,000 tons in June, an increase of 54.6% over the same period last year; in August, the export volume also exceeded 600,000 tons, reaching 645,000 tons, an increase of 32.8% over the same period last year.

　　Second, there is a wide range of exports.

China's ammonium sulfate exports are all over the world. The main exporters are Vietnam, Philippines, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand and other Asian countries. In addition, Turkey, Brazil, El Salvador, Guatemala, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand and other countries export more.

　　Third, export prices have risen

In the first nine months of this year, the average export price of ammonium sulfate in China was US$116.8 (ton price, the same below), which was US$105.4 in the same period last year, up 10.9% from the same period last year. The average monthly export price is relatively stable, basically fluctuates between $115 and $120, and the difference between high and low prices is only about $5.

　　As a result of a large number of ammonium sulfate exports to foreign markets, the contradiction between supply and demand in the domestic market has been alleviated, and domestic prices have been supported. At present, the quotation of ammonium sulfate is basically more than 600 yuan, which is about 900 yuan, a new high in the past five years.
